The Cow Town Throwdown is Kansas City's off-season FIRST® Robotics Event. CTTD is a re-enactment of the previous year's competition, allowing teams to compete in a fun, friendly atmosphere and provides a positive experience in Robotics competition before the year's season begins.
The Kansas City Regionals are held in downtown Kansas City, Missouri at Hale Arena. They draw a number of teams from surrounding states including Kansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Illinois.More Event Information
The Razorback Regional is held by the University of Arkansas, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This competition will be held April 4-6. Over 2,000 high school students, professional mentors and family members will gather in Barnhill Arena to compete for six coveted spots to go to the World Championship in St. Louis.More Event Information
For the year 2013, the FIRST® Robotics championships will be held at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. Teams from all over the world come together to compete in the "Super Bowl of smarts". St. Louis is a city that has held a FIRST® National Competition for nine years and has hundreds of volunteers involved in all four programs at FIRST® including: Junior FIRST® LEGO© League; FIRST® LEGO© League; FIRST® Tech Challenge; and FIRST® Robotics Competition. The local community, spearheaded by the Saint Louis Science Center, assists all of the state's robotics teams with mentors, venues and financial support.
